The WA-2! System greatly reduces the environmental strain that results from the traditional bottled water delivery process.

The WA-2! system:

  • Successfully decreases our dependence on polycarbonate. Polycarbonate, the main ingredient in your five gallon water jugs, is not biodegradable.
  • Dramatically reduces the number of bottle caps produced. Bottle caps are not reusable, nor are they biodegradable.
  • Significantly reduces air pollutants, roadway congestion, and fuel consumption created by bottled water deliveries.

WA-2! supports the environment by using fuel efficient vehicles and encouraging paperless billing.

WA-2! Cups Better for the Environment than paper cups!

  • WA-2! cups are made from polystyrene, an organic plastic material composed of carbon and hydrogen atoms.
  • Polystyrene is recycled into numerous different plastic items such as school rulers and clothes hangers.
  • Polystyrene takes up a lot less space in landfill sites, it actually takes up less than 1% by volume and .03% by weight compared to 36 % for paper and paperboard.
  • Landfills are best suited to handle this material because it readily compacts when covered with layers of soil, providing important landfill stabilization – like concrete, brick and the earth itself.
  • The inert materials do not contribute to air or water pollution because they remain in a solid state.
  • Did you know? Hot paper cups are not 100% recyclable. They are not biodegradable due to the fact that they have a poly coating inside the cup.

Of course the best choice for a drinking cup is a glass or stainless steel bottle. However, if you are going the disposable route, WA-2! is the environmental leader.

WA-2! customers are positively impacting the environment.
